About the book
Gurmat Sangeet Sagar is Principal Dyal Singh's collection of shabad reets in the raags of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, written in the Bhatkhande sargam notation with the taal of each. Principal Dyal Singh (1934–2012) taught Gurmat Sangeet for decades. The reets appear here with the kind permission of his family and the publisher, who want them to reach a wider audience; the notation is theirs, and any mistake in transcribing it is ours. Corrections are welcome at ravreet.tech@gmail.com.
The shabads themselves are Gurbani, from Sri Guru Granth Sahib; the ang (page) of each is given above.
